My family does not celebrate Easter, but this year we went to my aunt's house because my cousin was in town. I saw her and her brother - he makes lasers at his work. I had so much dessert.I had strawberry cake and a lot of candy, and we had a fire pit and then we left. I hope I can see them again soon. I had alot of fun. My oldest cousin lives far away in Tennessee. I don't get to see them alot so it was really exciting when we went to my aunt's house.

My uncle has a metal detector and he let us use it to find things in his backyard. I found a gold coin! We also get a remote for a remote-controlled boat they gave to us awhile ago. On our way home, we got hungry so we stopped for hamburgers. When we finally go home, after dark, our dog Manny was so excited to see us.I fell asleep super-fast that night.

My friend and My Dad

Yesterday I went jogging with my dad and my brother. It was so hard. My dad never wants you to stop. We ran the trail twice. We saw three red-winged black birds, and one king fisher. After that I ate six Altoids. When I got home I played with my friend in my sandbox. My friend and her brother moved in a house down the street. One time, my friend, my sister, and I almost got lost in the woods behind her house. Good thing we made it out alive.

My name is Ella. I am 10 years old. My birthday is in August. I am the oldest of four kids. I have two brothers and one sister. I have a pet snake named Popcorn and I have a dog named Manny.  I have brown hair and blue eyes.  I am really good at sewing. I LOVE to read and my favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I have the whole series.  I have two American Girl dolls – Cecile and Marie Grace. I got Cecile for 7^th birthday and bought Marie Grace with my own money. I do a lot of crafting for my dolls like making miniature food, clothes, and rooms from cardboard and stuff. My dad helped me build a bed for my dolls. I love lots of different music including country, Pop, rock & roll, and alternative. I love to cook and I watch all the cooking shows I can find. This drives my brother crazy.

I am writing this blog because I really like to write and I have lots of ideas to share.
